Collection Overview:
100 iconic images of Soundgarden photographed by yours truly, Chris Cuffaro. This is the second in the “My Grunge Years: Live” series of drops and more will be coming out every few months over the next year. The first in the series was Nirvana 1991 dropped on OpenSea a little over a month ago. See “Roadmap” below for more about how this drop will fit into the larger plan and benefit early collectors of these projects.
Details:
Way back in on January 30th, 1992 at theΒ Ventura Theatre in Ventura, CA., I was lucky enough to shoot the band for some serious fun. They were in the middle or their BadmotorfingerΒ tour and they were nice enough to let me shoot the show for fun. I had see many shows at theΒ Ventura TheatreΒ and it was one of my favorite venues. The sound was great, the space was small and intimate, but what I loved most from shooting in the pit was the stage wasnβt that high compared to other venues.Β So I could really lean in and capture everything.
This was my 4th or 5th time seeingΒ SoundgardenΒ LIVE! They never disappointed me once. Chris was the perfect front man as we know. He had the βitβ factor and the best voice in rock! Kim, Matt and Ben were on fire that night! Such a great show in every way you couldnβt ask for more.
